So what is on the menu tonight?

Well since it’s an American theme here goes: Starter: soup on sweet potatoes and som addons Entrée: Texas Chili with all the trimmings Dessert: Frozen Key Lime Cheesecake Sounds good eh? And the sound theme tonight will be blues all the way. Now I have to head into the kitchen and add some more stuff to the chili, its been cooking for about 5 hours now.

Time to get going with some cooking

We’re having friends over for dinner tonight so it’s time to hit the kitchen and start the slowcooking of a texas chili.

Basically it’s Markus Aujalays recipe but we choose to not put in any beans in the mix. Usually comes out perrrrfect. So hopefully it does today too..

- ouch.. always nice to get a pair of fishhooks in hand, flop comes rainbow with a pair of nines. I push in and get killed by no less than a pair of kings, but then he got killed two seats down by two pocket rockets.. 

Three, damn, pocket pairs on one hand.. *gah* then to end the night with a little cashgame and get my straight busted by a full boat.. not my evening :)

Yep, I’m back. Moving the basics to tumblr (ie. short posts) and keeping the premium blogposts to my upcoming ‘company’ website. I’m working on the layout and fixing things so bear with me a while.. I’ll be fixed and done by the weekend being over (I hope!)

Yep. Feels like that’s what tomorrows going to feel like after a bodypump gymclass tonight. Can probably survive it but I’ll have muscle-ache in muscles I didn’t know I had tomorrow. That paired with early morning since I’m heading to London for an over the day visit to a partner. Meetings. No fun :). Hectic 24 hrs coming up. Flight leaves at 7ish and we get back 23ish. Yey!

Desecration of my Mac

Yep. I’m in the process of desecrating my MacBook. How? Bootcamping in windows since vmware still can’t get a vsphere-client out for Mac OS X. There is one for iPad - how hard can it be to port it to Mac? Seriously.

There done, desecration is complete, now I can boot friggin windows on my friggin Mac and I hate it - as per usual, it will be there but more or less never be booted into windows. At home I’m considering it on my iMac to make it more of a gamerplatform (since I gave up WoW I have not found much that I like to play on Mac OS X)

Any suggestions?

Ljuset i slutet på tunneln

Den skymtar nu, ljuset i slutet på tunneln. 5 pulvermåltider kvar. Inga fler rapporter förrän fredag morgon när vi är klara - har ju redan passerat målet med dieten så allt utöver är extra bonus. I eftermiddag tog jag sista hålet i bältet (2 hål mindre än för snart 3 veckor sedan). Nöjd, ja, mer nöjd på fredag morgon. Nu 1 timmes spinning med instruktören som blir mer drivande ju svettigare man blir :)
